Creative Liberties is proud to support the 5x5$5 event that is a part of Sarasota Rising's 2nd "Living Arts Festival". This is a collaborative event that allows artists and other members of the community to create art together. This event and its participants will further support the arts when the art is displayed and available for purchase by the youth of our community.

Some important details:

• This art will be available for purchase at a special event called Rise & Shine Saturday on Saturday November 8th, 2025 from 9:00am - 5:00pm at the Municipal Auditorium. The 5x5$5 event will provide an opportunity for the children to become art collectors by purchasing their very first piece of art for just $5. This type of art project is already utilized in many festivals around the country. This 5x5$5 is our unique spin as, well, we all know sometimes, less IS more!

• All 5x5 canvases supplied by Sarasota Rising and can be picked up at Creative Liberties Art Making events and during open hours at Creative Liberties, Thursday - Saturday, 10am -3pm.

• Collaborative Art Making events at Creative Liberties 927 N Lime Ave. Saturday, October 18th between 10-3pm. Or Tuesday, October 21st between 4-7PM.

• November 2, 2-4pm CREATE YOUR 5x5$5 Table at The Opening Party at Art Ovation Hotel, 1255 N Palm Avenue on Sunday, November 2nd from 2-4PM. 

• Finished canvases can be dropped off at Creative Liberties, the Living Arts Festivals Opening Party, or The Sarasota Rising Offices at 1900 Main Street suite 212.

  To show our appreciation to the artists that so generously offer their time and talent in support of this project, all participating artists will be invited to attend a mixer event for networking and artist promotion. The exact time and date will be announced soon, but we are anticipating that it will be held mid January, 2026.
